The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (RNZYS), founded in 1871 and based in Auckland, is New Zealand's most prestigious and historic yacht club. It serves as the proud home and defending club for Emirates Team New Zealand, which has won the America's Cup multiple times under the RNZYS burgee (1995, 2000, 2017, 2021, 2024).
The Squadron is renowned for its competitive excellence, a history filled with major international sailing victories, and its central role in the nation's yachting culture for over 150 years.
