2027 dates TBC.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday: 10am – 6pm, Sunday: 10am – 5pm.
Where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets will be available from September 2026 for the 2027 boat show.
Tickets can be purchased through the Auckland Boat Show website, which will redirect you to our ticketing agency Flicket, to complete your ticket purchase.
What exhibitors will be at the show?
Please refer to the exhibitor directory for complete listings.
Every year, the show is expanding. This show has a lot to discover, so check out our show map (available online, and at the show) to help you navigate through it.
How can I get to the show?
Where are the main entrances to the show?
Please see our getting here page for our tips on the best ways to travel to the show.
There are 2 main entrances, one at each end of the show.
To avoid confusion, we have named them as such:
The Main entrance - Enter via Halsey Street. This takes you to the Viaduct Events Centre (VEC). The info desk is located inside the VEC entrance.
The Marina entrance - Enter via Brigham Street. This takes you to Wynyard Wharf. (Near Emirates Team NZ office).
Is the event suitable for children?
Absolutely! Often our exhibitors will have something just for the kids on their stands, while children under 16 years enter the show free.
This year, we have several activations around the show catered to our little boaties, including face painting and kids' lifejacket fitting seminars on the weekend.
Please note that at certain times, access with pushchairs to the marina may be difficult with the tides and crowds.
Is the show pet-friendly?
No animals are permitted through the show.
What other activities, attractions, or demos are there?
One of the exciting elements of our show, which sets us apart from the rest is the Sea Trial Area. Patrons get the opportunity to test out boats before buying. There are also water-sport demos down on the marina.
There are lots of competitions, new releases, and other goodies – check out the explore page for full details.
Companies host seminars daily in the pavilion. All patrons are welcome.
Full timetable to come.
Will there be ATMs on site?
ATMs are available just outside the show at the ASB building on the corner of Halsey Street.
Where are the toilets?
Toilets are located in and around the boat show and by the Visitor Information Centre in Karanga Plaza.
See the show map for details.
What if I become separated from a child, or lose property?
Make your way to the show office just inside the show entrance off Hamer Street, in the Viaduct Events Centre, where our show team will assist you.
What if I am injured or become unwell?
We have the Elite Medical team on-site, along with health and safety policies in place to address any situation.
What should I bring?
We suggest bringing comfortable footwear, sunhats, and sunscreen, and leaving pets at home. Baby carriers are recommended for young children, as space is very limited on the marina for pushchairs and may be prohibitive during busy periods.
This year, we have moved the cafe inside the Viaduct Events Centre. There are also several food trucks located next to the marina, and ice cream trucks dotted around the venue.
Can I smoke or vape?
No, unfortunately, we don't allow smoking or vaping anywhere in the show - indoors or outdoors - to ensure the safety and comfort of all our visitors.
Is the show wheelchair accessible?
Yes, however, the marina has limited and narrow access in some places, and at low tide, the marina ramps may be too steep for manual wheelchairs. Discretion is required.
