Jiwa Steel

Jiwasteel is a unique, home-based art studio and workshop in Doubtless Bay, New Zealand, specializing in creating custom, three-dimensional wall sculptures of fish schools from 316 marine-grade stainless steel.
Founded in 2011 with the aim of achieving self-sufficiency through art, the company evolved from making basic flat fish wall hangings to pioneering complex, multi-fish pieces with depth and movement that capture the essence of New Zealand's marine environment.

Each piece is handcrafted in their own workshop/gallery using heat and hand-applied paint, and the artists work closely with clients through a collaborative design process to create personalized artworks for homes, baches, and gifts. Their work is inspired by the local Far North landscape, and they take pride in offering customers a full studio tour and insight into their creative process.
