Getting your show Alcohol Licence
We’ve got some exciting news with the Auckland Boat Show for 2026, we are reaching out because this year we’ve expanded the size of the show to accommodate a select few marine-related companies!
We are offering just a few food and beverage companies’ space to exhibit at the show. To do this, we need to abide by the alcohol licence.
In order to either offer tastings, or to sell alcohol from your stand for any alcoholic beverage or substance, you must provide the Auckland Boat Show Team (operations@nzmarine.com) with an outline of what you are promoting. This must be accompanied by the hours you are offering this service, what the alcoholic beverage is (including the % of alcohol), and the full name and address of the person who will be applying for the special licence.
This information will then be submitted to the venue or landowner who will provide the letter of approval required for your liquor licence application. You must then apply for a special licence allowing for sale and off-site consumption, and once granted the licence details must be submitted back to the Operations Manager to hold on file during the event.
Any alcohol sold from your stand cannot be consumed at the event and must be provided to the buyer in a sealed bag or container.
