Discover Honda’s next generation outboard range with Honda Marine

Over the years, the Auckland On Water Boat Show has developed a reputation as a hub for the new releases and innovations of the marine industry this year. As the show approaches, we’ll be highlighting the best-in-show products you can expect to see this year, and the latest and greatest from our exhibitors.

January 12, 2023 By

Honda Marine is excited to present the next generation range of outboards.

The next generation BF115–BF150 outboards boast a new motion form design. These engines have a new body with sleek aerodynamic styling and a superior, hydrodynamic-designed gear case for better underwater performance at high speed.

All three outboards in the range have the same 2.4 litre PGM-Fi engine with a range of horsepower options for different-sized boats. Loaded with features like Honda’s unique three-way cooling system and dual air-intake, Honda’s Hole Shot technology BLAST™ for superior acceleration, and ECOmo lean burn control which contributes to the outstanding fuel economy and low emissions.

The new generation outboards have a range of updates to help make servicing easier and faster, thus helping reduce maintenance costs.

A high output, belt-driven alternator supplies excellent battery charging, even at trolling speeds. The engines boast Honda’s 4-front Corrosion Protection System, which means the aluminium casings are anodised with Honda’s patented ‘Double Seal’ process. Then an epoxy primer is applied before the base paint.

For further protection from UV rays, a clear resin topcoat is applied to finish. And to be doubly sure, a sacrificial anode is fitted, plus all connectors are waterproof.

Combined with Honda’s world-renowned reputation for reliability, and the industry-leading 7 year domestic warranty, you can rest assured your investment in a Honda outboard will be well looked after.
