Sessa Marine brings a long and reputable heritage of Italian excellence in global boats building. Sessa Marine is the epitome of innovation, design, technology, quality, luxurious style and reliability in the 35ft – 68ft fully customisable range.
Sessa Marine was one of the first innovative companies to partner with Volvo Penta to adopt the revolutionary IPS technology. With years of experience producing boats specifically designed for IPS engines, Sessa Marine is one of the most experienced shipyards utilising this technology.
Reliability is paramount, so Sessa partners with World leading manufacturers such as Volvo, Raymarine, Fusion etc so all parts and warranties are supported anywhere in the world.
There’s almost endless customisation options including: Volvo Penta IPS engine sizes, bow thrusters, joystick control, radar, fish finders, TV and audio systems, underwater lights, hydraulic lowering transom, generators, air conditioning, ice makers, ovens, washing machines, dish washers, various flooring & upholstery options… you can even install a thermal night imaging camera or a specific temperature-controlled wine fridge.
Renowned for their safety and seaworthiness, Sessa Marine boats are highly regarded with a CE CLASS B rating – impressively designed to travel off the coast 200 miles, handle winds up to force 8, and waves up to up to 4 meters high, so very safe and reliable in New Zealand marine conditions.

Like many in New Zealand’s marine industry, Smuggl Like many in New Zealand’s marine industry, Smuggler Marine is a family-owned business which has evolved and grown alongside the Auckland Boat Show.

Smuggler Marine, as it was rebranded in 2004, started life in 1986 as David Pringle Boatbuilders, mainly building yachts including some of the iconic Ross 930s and Elliot 1050s that are still sailing today.

In 2004 the business moved into powerboats and created its very first Smuggler.

“That’s when we started focusing on the boat show market,” says Pauline Pringle. “Boat shows were the way we made sure everyone knew what a Smuggler was.”

“The Auckland Boat Show is in a great location, high end, people are there to buy boats, and it’s full of opportunity for our business. We love the customers, the variety of people and exhibitors and the end of summer vibe.”

Meet the Smuggler team at the Auckland Boat Show 2026, 5-8 March.
