Superior Boats is a highly respected New Zealand boat builder and marine boat repair specialist based in Manurewa, Auckland With roots dating back to 1986 in fibreglass boat repairs and custom build work, Superior Boats has grown into a boutique craft builder known for high-quality coastal cruisers that combine performance, seaworthiness, and timeless Kiwi design.
Originally founded as South Auckland Boat Repairs by Sam Dorotich, the company built its reputation on fibreglass expertise and excellence in marine maintenance. This foundation allowed the business to evolve into Superior Boats, a marine design and production division within the wider Superior Group, producing a range of fibreglass launches and motor cruisers.
