Locally represented Maritimo boats return to Auckland Boat Show

January 1, 2026 By Zoe Hawkins

Kiwis are buying boats again and those in the market for luxury will be delighted to be able to purchase new Maritimo vessels direct from an Auckland based agent.

The Motor Yacht Service Centre is an institution in Hobsonville Marina – founded in 2008, it has a track record of excellence in workmanship and customer service including as warranty and service agent for Maritimo.

Maritimo originates from the Gold Coast, Australia, are a globally recognised brand renowned for innovation and quality. Their motoryachts are between 15m (50ft) and 23m (75ft) in length. Maritimo offers models for game fishing, offshore cruising and adventuring.

“We know the Maritimo are boats we can stand by,” says spokeperson Matthew Cole. “The business is busier than ever and we are enjoying the opportunity to sell these brilliant boats that we know so well and see more of them in New Zealand waters.”

To support the brand in the New Zealand market a new sales and servicing complex is underway at Hobsonville Marina in Auckland. Construction will begin shortly and it is expected to be complete for summer 2026-27. It will feature room for sales, boats in the water, and covered shed space for two 80’ boats.

As far as the boats that will be on display at the Auckland Boat Show, that will depend on shipping logistics but expect to see the M600 (pictured) with its sporty game fishing features, including a flybridge and closed transom, and one other still to be announced. All going well, and if the shipping schedule is on track, this could be a very special boat – watch this space.
