New boats, local debuts and international innovation

Boatbuilding innovation will headline a strong line-up of new launches, technology releases and international premieres at the Auckland Boat Show, 5–8 March 2026, with locally designed and built vessels leading the charge at the country’s premier marine event as it celebrates its 25th anniversary.

Debut boats include:

Elite AT43 | New Zealand-designed production cruiser gaining strong market traction, combining practical layout, refined finish and reliable offshore performance.
Elite Kaeā (13.8m) | New Zealand-built commuter cruiser combining offshore capability, refined comfort and efficient performance for challenging Cook Strait and coastal passages.
Excess 11 (Nina Simone) | Compact performance cruising catamaran delivering engaging sailing, surprising interior space and proven capability in New Zealand coastal conditions.
Offshore 1100 HTC Power Cat | Foil-assisted power catamaran designed for offshore fishing, diving and adventure cruising, combining performance, stability and extended on-water comfort.
Prestige F4.3 | Next-generation flybridge motor yacht offering spacious interiors, refined outdoor living areas and contemporary European design for luxury cruising.
Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 350 | Modern performance cruising yacht delivering increased interior volume, comfortable sailing characteristics and contemporary styling for coastal and offshore adventures.
SARGO 45 | Finnish-built adventure cruiser combining Scandinavian craftsmanship, offshore capability and all-weather comfort for extended coastal and offshore boating.
Seawind 1170 | Award-winning cruising catamaran blending offshore sailing pedigree, modern comfort and performance-focused design for serious passagemaking and coastal exploration.
Smuggler 800 Super Sport | New bowrider-style RIB showcasing Smuggler’s amphibious expertise, versatile performance and strong appeal for family boating and coastal adventure.
XO Defender 9 | Adventure-focused aluminium-hulled cruiser delivering offshore capability, high performance and practical comfort for fishing, cruising and watersports use.

Tristram 821 Offshore APEX Edition | High-spec offshore trailer boat debuting APEX package, delivering top-tier electronics, integrated systems and premium finishes for serious fishing and cruising.
2023 McConaghy MC63P Offshore | Immaculately presented powercat offering innovation, refined opulence & cutting edge systems throughout.
Fin Chaser 800 Hard Top | New amphibious hardtop combining offshore ride comfort, practical fishing space and innovative design with the ability to drive straight ashore.
Maritimo M55 Black Edition | long-range cruising flybridge motor yacht fuses the latest advancements in motor yacht technology and design with all of the legacy features of the iconic M-Series model.
Maritimo M75 | Illusion will be open to Motor Yacht Service Centre customers and registered guests to step aboard and experience the superb craftsmanship, innovation and luxurious amenities of the Maritimo flagship Flybridge model.

 

Marine technology and equipment innovation will also feature strongly. Yamaha Marine New Zealand will present its Helm Master EX wireless control system, allowing low-speed manoeuvring from anywhere onboard, while new Honda outboard engines will be demonstrated on sea trials. Italian manufacturer Frigomar, represented locally by Boatgear, will showcase advanced marine air-conditioning and refrigeration systems, including energy-efficient variable-speed inverter technology designed to deliver quieter operation, lower power consumption and flexible installation for vessels of all sizes.

With around 150 exhibitors and more than 200 boats on display on land and water, including 30 boats available to sea trial, the Auckland Boat Show offers visitors a comprehensive look at the latest boats, equipment and marine innovation not only in New Zealand, but in the world.

The 25th Auckland Boat Show takes place from Thursday 5 – Sunday 8 March 2026 at the Viaduct Events Centre in Auckland. With more than 1.3km of boats on the water it focuses on supporting industry growth and sustainability and features zones for careers, sustainability, high-end charters, and sea trials, all with interactive activations and educational pieces. www.aucklandboatshow.co.nz.
