Tristram Marine will release not one, but two new models at this year’s show. The Hamilton-based team is excited to bring both the Tristram 741 Vanquish and Tristram 821 Offshore new releases to the show, alongside the epic range of hardtops, targa tops, bowriders and inshore fishing boats showgoers know and love from Tristram.
The highly-anticipated new Tristram Vanquish 741 Targa Top is a fold-down targa top model, which will appeal to owners with specific garaging requirements and a keenness for the ‘open-air’ feeling that a hardtop minimises. Available in both sterndrive or outboard, the new CAD designed and CNC moulded 7.9m long Vanquish shares a hull and deck with the successful 741 Offshore hardtop model – one of Tristram’s most popular models currently, alongside the 701 and 821.
The Tristram Vanquish 741
Overnighting comforts are enjoyed aboard the 741 Vanquish with its fully enclosable targa top clears and canvas system. A sliding and lockable cabin door is featured along with large under-floor, under-seat and under-bunk storage cavities. Cooking facilities are standard and fridge options are available.
The Tristram 821 Offshore is a long-range blue water sports fishing boat set to change the GRP trailer boat industry in New Zealand with its highly sought after 8.77m LOA and 2.78m beam, broad shoulders, wide side decks, raised sheer and trademark aggressive-but-sleek ‘Tristram’ profile.
In addition to the ever-popular diesel sterndrive powerplant option, Tristram has also released a twin outboard configuration in the all-new 821 Offshore with optional joystick piloting for 360-degree skipper control and Skyhook digital anchoring.
In conjunction with Simrad, Tristram now exclusively offer a full glass helm in the 821 Offshore, uniquely featuring a 100% digital information display. What begins as a black glass panel lights up to reveal two 12” screens featuring a range of GPS chart, depth sounder, engine and on-board system displays with just the turn of the key.
Since the new model’s inception, the brief has been ‘wide open seas’. Therefore size, range and performance immediately became the hero features of Tristram’s new 821 Offshore.
Crafted in-house once again with state-of-the-art CAD software, the all new model is within 1mm of accuracy port to starboard and bow to stern, with subtle mouldings that create an incredibly soft, dry and stable ride in even the most severe of New Zealand’s offshore weather conditions.
Several unique features for the most discerning of game anglers are found across the 821 Offshore’s deck platform. Large storage lockers are found under bunks, seats and the cockpit floor including two 3m long underfloor rod lockers to suit 50 wide game reels. Gear can be washed in situ with each locker featuring drains to the 821’s on-board sump system. Built-in tuna tubes (two or four) can be optioned into the transom of the 821 Offshore. An 80L live bait tank is also featured on the new model.
